How to Use Lead Capture

This app allows you to capture attendee information by scanning QR codes on event badges.

Getting Started

1. Tap "Scan Badge" to open the camera

2. Point the camera at an attendee's QR code badge

3. Add notes and set lead ranking

4. Save the lead information

Managing Leads

View all captured leads in the "View Leads" section where you can:

  • See lead statistics and summaries
  • Edit existing lead information
  • Filter leads by ranking (hot, warm, cold)

Exporting Data

Export your leads as CSV files for use in other systems or for follow-up.

Quick Start Guide

1. Click the menu (☰) in the top-left to navigate

2. Use "Scan Badge" to capture attendee QR codes

3. View your captured leads in "View Leads"

4. Export all leads as CSV when finished

Lead Management Features

• Add personalized notes to each lead

• Rank prospects as Cold, Warm, or Hot

• Rate potential dollar value (1-5 $)

• Export to CSV for CRM import

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Click "Scan Badge" to activate your camera
  2. Allow camera permissions when prompted
  3. Point your camera at the attendee's badge QR code
  4. Wait for automatic detection (should be instant)
  5. Review the attendee information that appears
  6. Add your notes about this lead
  7. Select a ranking (Cold/Warm/Hot)
  8. Choose a dollar value rating (1-5 $)
  9. Click "Save Lead" to store locally
  10. Repeat for additional attendees
  11. Use "Export" to download your leads as CSV

• Make sure your camera has good lighting

• Hold steady when scanning QR codes

• Add detailed notes while the conversation is fresh

• All data is stored locally on your device

• Export regularly to backup your leads

🔒 Privacy & Storage

Your lead data is stored securely on your device using browser local storage. No data is sent to external servers except when initially loading event information.

Remember to export your leads before clearing browser data or switching devices.
